Cherry Vanilla’s Inspiration Story
Our Founder (and formulator!), Ben Goodwin, crafted Cherry Vanilla to taste just like a cherry pie. Like our Strawberry Vanilla flavor, Cherry Vanilla is a creation inspired by his childhood and favorite sweet indulgences. Born in August, Ben always craved a fresh cherry pie on his birthday. Unfortunately, cherry season peaked before his birthday rolled around, so he couldn’t enjoy this sweet and tangy treat on his special day.
Now, he can! Ben was able to formulate the taste of his favorite pie in a good-for-you, more delicious (if you can believe it), and significantly fizzier form. Despite drawing inspiration from a deliciously sweet dessert, OLIPOP's Cherry Vanilla is neither too sweet nor too rich. It hits the nostalgia of cherry pie without overpowering it. It allows you to get a taste of the cherry pie flavor you remember (or, if you haven’t tried cherry pie, a flavor you’ll now never forget!), but even better. If that doesn't put a smile on your face, we don't know what will.
